Could the national lottery run without OMR?

The national lottery relies on OMR (Optical Mark Recognition)to make the process of allowing the millions of players get their ticket quick and also allows all the information to be sent and collected by The Lottery HQ.

OMR is used by The Lottery as the method that players use to choose their numbers - The piece of paper that you mark and is then scanned at the counter is the OMR.

If this system didn't exist, then it would be impossible for the vast amount of players to get their tickets every week
